Osteopathy

Osteopathy is a unique approach in treating the entire body and all its systems. The body works together to create health and function, and when one piece of the puzzle is not functioning at proper capacity or alignment it affects all areas that interconnect. Osteopathy focuses on treating cause not symptoms. And therefore allowing the body to reintegrate back to health.

Born in Digby, Nova Scotia, Nicole was raised in a military household and travelled across the country with her family, eventually circling back to settle down in the south shore. Nicole’s mother was a practicing nurse and one of the first employment opportunities Nicole experienced was a porter in the hospitals here in Halifax.

In 2010, Nicole continued her health care journey by graduating from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy as an RMT. In 2018 Nicole returned to enhance her education by enrolling in Osteopathic studies at the Canadian College of Osteopathy, graduating in 2022. Nicole submitted and presented her case report on the symptomatology and treatment of Chronic Pelvic Pain in clients with Endometriosis in March 2023.

Nicole’s passion for overall health and wellness is what led her to pursue a career in osteopathy. Osteopathy is focused on interconnections within the body and creates a puzzle to solve with every client.

Outside of work, Nicole can be found making what seems like countless salads and dinners, gardening, exercising, reading, spending time with her family and friends and possibly a Nordic Spa day. Much like her career choice, she believes life is about balance.

Nicole enjoys meeting and getting to know her clients, and appreciates the trust they have given her with their care.

Nicole welcomes you to joint her treatment roster and looks forward to helping you become a more balanced and heathier you!
